Location and Facilities
Pao School's 10,000 square meter Hongqiao campus, opened in Sep 2017, is a self-contained campus for Middle School students. Situated in Changning District of downtown Shanghai, due to its central location and convenient subway access (Metro Line 10, Longxi Road Station), it is an ideal place from which to explore cultural and enrichment activities throughout the neighborhood and city.
We are in the 1st year of a 4-year campus development project. The Hongqiao campus is designed to be a state-of-the-art facility, including a library/media centre, STEM centre, performing arts centre, indoor gymnasium and natatorium. We are building a campus for the future—a learning environment that is optimal for our middle school students.
Students admitted into the Middle School International Programme must have demonstrated suitable academic achievement in their current school. They also should have a desire to immerse themselves in Chinese culture and language and demonstrate curiosity and open-mindedness. Students of varying levels of Chinese language – from beginner to advanced – may apply.
