Pao School Scholarship Programme

The founders and leadership team recognised the importance of establishing a comprehensive scholarship programme for the school’s long-term development. As a result, the founders’ family took the lead in donating and launching the Pao School Scholarship Programme in 2012. The YK Pao School Foundation subsequently received generously donations from supporters and friends of the Pao School community in support of the Scholarship Programme.

The Pao School Scholarship Programme aims to build a strong, diverse, and accomplished student body and is designed to recognise and celebrate students demonstrating outstanding achievement both in academics as well as their contribution to the school. The programme will also help the school to recruit some of the best and brightest young minds and provide access to the unique Pao School experience for those experiencing financial hardship.

I’m deeply grateful to Pao School. I’ve learned so much, not only academically, but outside the classroom as well. Receiving the Vincent and Lily Woo Scholarship is a great encouragement and motivation for me. I will continue to work hard towards my dreams and strive to become a great scientist. I will always remember to give back to the community.

I would like to thank Pao School for establishing such a fair and impartial scholarship policy. Receiving a scholarship is a wonderful recognition of my hard work, and a motivation for me to study harder. In the future, I will double my efforts in order to succeed in the IB programme, and grow into a successful and happy global citizen.
