One of the YK Pao School Goals is to cultivate a concern for the community. As such, we aim to give students an awareness of the community around them and to teach them how they can play a part.

We have an ongoing partnership with Cifeng School in Sichuan, which was heavily affected by the earthquake in 2008. In the past we have sent students, parents and teachers to provide relief to Cifeng and the School has organised a number of fundraising events. Students also communicate with their peers in Cifeng via web-link.

There are regular activities held throughout the school year that aim to teach students about their responsibility to the community in which they live. One popular event is Grandparents' Day, where our students' Grandparents come to school for a day with their Grandchildren to share their learning and experience.
