PAP internship/job-shadowing programme

Thanks to the generosity of YK Pao School parents, twenty YKPS Year 9 & 10 students participated in the 2nd Christmas season of Parents As Partners (PAP) internship/job-shadowing programme during the Christmas holidays. We are so grateful for the following business and organizations for providing our students such valuable opportunities: 1MuTian Organic Farm, Baozun Commerce, Inc., Hoodinn.com, International Channel Shanghai (ICS), Llinks Law Offices and Zhongou Asset Management Co., Ltd. Through PAP internship/job-shadowing programme, participating students were able to broaden their horizons, explore potential careers and gain some hands-on, real world learning experiences.

There, I learned how to draw some easy patterns by photoshop. My teacher was doing a new software design. She and her friends had trouble in something. I was not only a good listener but also a good proponent. I gave she some experience and feelings about how I feel about a communication software as a customer. She felt that some of my suggestions benefits to her idea. I experienced and undersood what does it mean by group working.

For this week of experience and participation, i felt very joyful, also for the new knowledge that i have gained. In this week, i have learned many facts and skills about graphic advertisement design, i also learned how to use adobe illustrator and photoshop. It was a unforgettable experience, and it also slightly changed my views of designing.

The whole day I was focusing on this advertisement. At first it’s really hard for me to do this cause there are so many keys i have to remember. But my group members are all friendly and they fixed my confuse. Meeting them are wonderful, and i think this opportunity really helped me to make friends. I’m so glad that even we are not the same age, we still became friends.

The place was such large that we couldn’t see whole of them.  We found a lot of things that we have never seen before. “That’s how they grow? It’s fantastic!” we claimed. tomatoes grow in nutritions; carrots cannot survive after we pull them out; cauliflower’s fruit is deeply hidden in its big leaves.

I did a interview with a lawyer and know about a lot of knowledge about the job. Actually, to be a lawyer, you should not only own the professional knowledge reserves, but also have healthy physical condition. It’s absolutely very important.
