Pao School Summer Camps focus on the three pillars of the school’s mission: developing the whole person, passing on traditions of Chinese culture and fostering an international perspective. We work with talented international teams of experts to deliver an exciting and balanced camp featuring small class sizes and rich selection of sports, arts, technology, culture and more. Summer camps are open to both Pao School students and their counterparts from other schools.

Designed for students aged 5-9, offering a balanced mix of critical thinking, creativity, and physical activity. It aims to develop the spirit of exploration, self-expression, concentration, and innovation in an immersive bilingual environment. The camp introduces the two core subjects ‘Bilingual Science’ and ‘Speak & Shine’ (you can choose either one), and two CCAs ‘Creative Arts’ and ‘Fun Sports,’ ensuring a summer that is as engaging as it is enriching.

Designed for students aged 8-13, creating a "Boundless Creativity Workshop" at Pao School Hongqiao Campus. Each student becomes the designer of their own learning journey by selecting three in-depth courses from eight themes. By blending hands-on craftsmanship, technology, arts, and music, and more, students embark on a cross-disciplinary creative process, transforming inspiration into tangible projects.

This immersive 10-day boarding experience is designed for students aged 9-15 to deeply engage with Pao School's culture of ‘Compassion, Integrity, Balance.’ Living and learning in a multicultural environment, students collaborate with peers from diverse backgrounds. Guided by Pao School faculty and seniors (assistant), they cultivate independence, leadership, and a global mindset. The curriculum features six courses, including branding and innovation, business leadership, music and drama, game design and artificial intelligence, and more.
The programme is also enriched with diverse co-curricular and evening activities. Students experience the supportive community of British-style boarding life at Pao School Songjiang Campus, ensuring a summer filled with both meaningful challenges and joyful growth.

Designed to prepare students for future academic challenges, Pao Elevation Academy offers a two-week, fully immersive English-language academic experience grounded in YK Pao School’s educational ethos. Delivered by YK Pao School faculty, the programme emphasises rigorous academic thinking, advanced language skills, and the development of independence within a residential setting. Through intensive learning and collaboration, students strengthen core academic foundations, develop higher-level academic skills, and gain the confidence to navigate future academic pathways with clarity and purpose.

In 2026, the Bilingual Sailing Camp returns, led by the world champion team ChinaOne. Ningbo, together with international coaches and Pao School teachers, the programme integrates the US Sailing Youth Certification Programme, offering a rich array of experiences including sailing training, evening activities, and a visit to the Oceanographic Institute. With Pao School’s renowned camp management, participants are guaranteed a safe, exciting, and memorable summer adventure.

This year, we once again partner with the world's top Outward Bound public welfare organizations to bring students an upgraded outdoor exploration experience—a journey to mysterious Shennongjia. Through unique experiential learning and adventurous outdoor activities, we aim to help students discover their personal potential, enhance their social and leadership skills, and foster resilience and confidence. Participants will also develop teamwork and problem-solving abilities while nurturing their determination and strength of character.
