YK Pao School Secondary Division is proud to announce this year’s IGCSE results. We are very delighted by this high level of achievement and the dedication of our students, staff and parents. Our students scored: 93% A*-C pass rate, 67% at A/A*, 39% at A*.
There were several subjects that saw high results, including Mathematics, History, Science and English Literature. A special mention must go to our Chinese Department which achieved 100% A/A* clearly showing the importance of our mission to develop a love of Chinese language and culture. 18 students achieved more than 5 A* grades and 40 students achieved 5 A* or A grades which shows great proficiency over a wide range of subjects.
Lee Sanders, Director of Secondary Academic Affairs, paid credit to the students for their significant efforts and to the teachers for their support: “It is extremely heartening to see such a fantastic outcome following the hard work and endeavour of all the students. We are immensely proud of their achievements and we look forward to their further success in the IB Diploma Programme.”
