The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) is among the largest associations of educational institutions in the world and is a professional non-profit membership organization serving institutions and the advancement professionals who work on their behalf in development, alumni relations, communications, marketing and allied areas. Pao School is delighted to be chosen by CASE as one of the hosting schools for their annual Asia-Pacific International Fundraising Conference and Study Tour in Shanghai. Delegates from education institutions around the world were attending to look into the fundraising practices in Asia as well as cultural aspects. Last year, the conference took delegates to Hong Kong University Foundation, The University of Science and Technology, The University of Oxford China Office and Fudan University.

It was an inspirational event, with discussion ranging from building philanthropic culture in China to fundraising approaches in diversified parent body. The delegation was deeply impressed by what the School and the Foundation have achieved as a young institution, especially when they learned that our Annual Fund Program had 90% participation rate which is rarely seen anywhere.

Being able to host this conference is a remarkable recognition of our efforts in community building and fundraising. It is also a great opportunity for us to interact more closely with other schools in the area of advancement.
